Course Description
ASIS CPP® certification enhances career opportunities by demonstrating management skills in seven key security domains. It is one of the most widely recognized security management qualifications in the world, often referred to as the “gold standard” for professionals. CPP® accreditation provides employers, colleagues and peers with professional assurance of the holder’s advanced knowledge backed by a minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The CPP® exam consists of 200 scored and 25 unscored multiple-choice questions. The exam covers tasks, knowledge and skills across seven broad domains, this bootcamp aids your preparation with complete mock exams, assessing your understanding of the materials and highlighting areas for further study. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: the ASIS exams are experience-based therefore, you will need to apply your own experience to answer the questions correctly.
The Training Course Will Highlight ?
  • Have full-time work experience in the security field.
  • Have 5–7 years of security-related experience, depending on their educational qualifications.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in a role with direct responsibility for managing a security function, program, or team.
  • Meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

o    Master’s Degree: 5 years of security experience (4 years if holding the APP certification), including at least 3 years in a security management role.

o    Bachelor’s Degree: 6 years of security experience (5 years if holding the APP certification), including at least 3 years in a security management role.

o    No qualifying degree: 7 years of security experience, including at least 3 years in a security management role.

  • Have no criminal record that could adversely affect professional standing in the security industry.
  • Agree to abide by the ASIS Certification Code of Conduct.
  • Comply with all requirements outlined in the ASIS Certification Handbook.

Training Methods

About the Exam

  • The ASIS exam can now be taken at your own home – meaning you don’t necessarily need to travel to a test center. Alternatively, you can sit the exam at a Prometric test center – which you book via ASIS directly.
  • Whichever exam option you choose, you are responsible for booking it and submitting your education and experience references.
  • The ASIS CPP® exam is over 4 hours, with a maximum of 225 multiple choice questions.
  • Questions are based on the seven domains identified by certified protection professionals as the key categories of security management.
  • The exam fee is not included in this training package.
