Well Integrity in Brown Fields
Course Description
This course focuses on the unique challenges of managing well integrity in brown or depleted fields. Participants will learn about the risks associated with aging wells, strategies for maintaining well integrity under full lack of barriers, sustained annuli pressures management and its rigless repair options and others techniques for addressing common failures. The course also emphasizes practical solutions for barrier management, last resort solutions, pressure control, and system optimization
The Training Course Will Highlight ?
Training Objective

By the end of this course, participants will:
❖ Understand the specific well integrity challenges in brown fields.
❖ Recognize the consequences of well integrity failures and implement preventive measures.
❖ Apply advanced techniques for managing barriers and well performance in brown fields, wells without
barriers or with sustained annulus pressures (SAP).
❖ Develop practical skills for troubleshooting and addressing common well issues, including annulus pressure
management and its rigless repair, lack of barriers and lack of data.
❖ Create effective programs for tree and valve maintenance, pressure testing, and barrier installation.
❖ Evaluate industry standards and apply best practices for well integrity in aging fields

Target Audience

This course is designed for:
❖ Engineers, supervisors, and field operators managing wells in brown and depleted fields.
❖ Professionals involved in well intervention, maintenance, drilling, well integrity, production, HSE, completions and abandonment operations.
❖ Asset integrity managers seeking strategies for aging infrastructure.
❖ Anyone interested in understanding the specific well integrity issues faced in brown field

Training Methods

The course adopts a hands-on and problem-solving approach, featuring:
❖ Interactive presentations on industry standards and best practices.
❖ Real-world case studies highlighting common failures and solutions.
❖ Practical exercises to develop actionable programs and methodologies.
❖ Group discussions to foster collaborative problem-solving.
