Unlike the broader "Certified Protection Professional (CPP)" certification from ASIS, PSP specifically focuses on the physical security aspects of an organization, including threat analysis, security system design, and implementation of physical security measures. 

This interactive training comprises slides and covers more than 400 of questions that prove to help in the exam to a very high level. We will cover all domains required in the Exam.

The exam covers tasks, knowledge and skills across Three Broad domains:

Physical Security Assessment

Task 1: Develop a physical security assessment plan.

Task 2: Identify assets to determine their value, criticality, and loss impact.

Task 3: Assess the nature of the threats so that the scope of the problem can be determined.

Task 4: Conduct an assessment to identify and quantify vulnerabilities of the organization.

Task 5: Perform a risk analysis so that appropriate countermeasures can be developed.

 

DOMAIN TWO

Application, Design, and Integration of Physical Security Systems

Task 1: Establish security program performance requirements.

Task 2: Determine appropriate physical security measures

Task 3: Design physical systems and prepare construction and procurement documentation.

 

DOMAIN THREE

Implementation of Physical Security Measures

Task 1: Outline criteria for pre-bid meetings to ensure comprehensiveness and appropriateness of implementation.

Task 2: Procure a system and implement recommended solutions to solve problems identified.

Task 3: Conduct final acceptance testing and implement/provide procedures for ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the measures

Task 4: Implement procedures for ongoing monitoring and evaluation throughout the system life cycle.

Task 5: Develop requirements for personnel involved in support of the security program.
