Course Description
This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview on Vessel types, design and use in the oil & gas industry. It covers an overview of Vessel Constructions and Operations, including its functions, components, and role in the oil and gas industry, the different types of Vessel designs that are commonly used, including single hull, double hull, turret, and hybrid designs, the history and development of Vessel Constructions, including the evolution of Vessel Constructions, designs and technologies over time, including its use in the exploration, development, and production of offshore oil and gas fields, the various components and systems that make up a Vessel, including the production, storage, offloading, and utilities systems, cover the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Vessels, including the management of production, storage, and offloading systems, as well as the maintenance of equipment and facilities. At the end of the course, participants will be able to acquire basic knowledge of vessels types, their use in the oil & gas industry, various ship’s design and technologies used. They will understand the basic principles of Vessel’s construction.
