Reimagine the future: Frameworks for a new economic system.

  • Explain the importance of considering a range of approaches to changing economic systems.
  • Determine the potential impact of new economic frameworks on definitions of growth in your industry.
  • Articulate the limitations of a linear economy in facilitating sustainable growth.
  • Justify which elements of new economic frameworks you would use to achieve goals in your organisation.

Day 4

Address the emergency: Business model innovation.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of how and where systems are changing, and the impact these changes have on your business model.
  • Review how organisations are transforming their business models today.
  • Determine opportunities for innovation in your organisation based on your understanding of the business model transformation others are undertaking.
  • Apply an experimental approach to business model transformation.
  • Recommend how your organisation could adopt new business practices as part of transforming its business model.

Day 5

Drive collective action: Collaboration.

  • Articulate the importance of building collaborative projects and relationships for your organisation as you address the climate emergency.
  • Investigate the different types of stakeholders your organisation may need to collaborate with.
  • Recommend how to communicate with a collaborator in a particular scenario.
  • Shape the future: Plan for climate action.
  • Deduce the change process your organisation may need to undertake to address the climate emergency.
  • Catalyse others to co-create a change plan.
  • Compile a customised change plan to address the climate emergency.
