What is executive effectiveness? As an executive career develops, the focus moves away from technical and commercial skills towards abilities in leadership and the demands on the individual executive change significantly. Of the many books written on this subject one stands out. This is Peter Drucker “The Effective Executive”. First written in 1967 and updated several times since then, it is regarded as a standard masterwork and it has influenced the design of this training session. You will work on trends and strategies in the following hey areas. • The concept of effectiveness - how leaders get things done • How to learn about personal effectiveness and develop it • How effective executives identify and concentrate on priorities • The importance of personal example and contribution • How to assess yourself and identify personal development objectives This will enable you to review your own thinking on leadership and effectiveness and set personal goals that will increase your personal effectiveness in applying yourself in a changing organizational context.

Accreditation
