Confined Space Entry
Course Description
On average, work in confined spaces kills many people every year across a wide range of industries, from those involving complex plant through to simple storage vessels. In addition, a number of people are seriously injured. Those killed include not only people working in the confined space but those who try to rescue them without proper training and equipment. Confined spaces pose a multitude of hazards. This 5 day course is designed for personnel who need to increase their safety awareness of confined space in their work setting.
The Training Course Will Highlight ?
Training Objective

To provide delegates with the basic knowledge necessary to understand the principles of a safe entry into a confined space and equip them with the skills to react positively and safely in an emergency. Completion of the course allows employees to understand the requirements for entry into confined spaces. The course identifies the hazards and outlines the duties of persons involved in working within confined spaces.
By the end of this course delegates will be able to:
•Understand the hazards of confined spaces
•Become knowledgeable in the OSHA safety standards for Permit-Required Confined Spaces Regulation
•Learn the duties and responsibilities of the confined space entry participants
•Achieve familiarity with atmospheric testing equipment and entrance equipment

Accreditation
