Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR)
Course Description
This course addresses the fundamentals of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) applications. The course covers the different phases for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) project implementation that include technical concept/key terminology, screening criteria, EOR Laboratory Measurements, EOR Modelling studies and EOR Pilot Design/Monitoring Plan/Pre-Pilot Test requirements. Different common EOR methods are highlighted such as Miscible Gas Injection, Thermal EOR, Chemical EOR and Water Altering Gas (WAG) Injection. The course extends to include an overview on EOR simulation modelling aspects in addition to examples on EOR field case studies.
