Course Description
This Five-day course covers the fundamentals of enterprise risk management. the attendance will learn about the theory and practice of risk management in-line with the ISO 31000 framework, using case studies and current affairs to bring material to life. On completion of this course, Risk Coordinators are expected to have a solid understanding of how effective risk management can benefit our company.The attendance will also learn how to become the company's risk champions, i.e., as an integral part of an effective risk management. This course helps our attendees to identify risk and opportunities, and gives them the confidence to communicate the benefits of risk management to skeptical employees. They will learn practical techniques to help influence and guide their colleagues.

  • Appetite and tolerance: How to determine your organization's appetite and tolerance for risk.
  • Risk Champions: Analyzing, articulating and reporting the root causes of risk to managers. Identifying the types of risk that could have an impact on your organization. Conducting quality risk assessments that enable you to assist risk owners in resolving problems. Intervening to address instances where risk management efforts are being hampered.
